Bin There, Done That: Keeping Our Place Clean!
Where Do I Toss What?
- Kitchen: Each kitchen has its own recycling and general waste bins, clearly marked.
- Courtyard: Out back near the fire exit, you'll find our big bins: 2 green for recycling, 4 grey for everything else.
Recycling Rules:
- Paper, plastic bottles, glass, and metal cans? You're in! (Give 'em a quick rinse, please!)
- Black bags? Nope! Empty those recyclables right into the green bins.
- No food, polystyrene, clothes, or anything electric. (Let's keep it simple!)
General Waste Gurus:
- If it can't be recycled, bag it up and into the black bin it goes!
Super Important Bin Basics:
- Kitchen bins are for kitchen waste only! Please don't bring your room rubbish in there.
- Bags IN the bins, folks! Let's keep the floor clear and avoid any unwanted critter visitors, in both the kitchen and courtyard.
Collection Times:
- Our big courtyard bins get picked up Mondays and Thursdays.
- Kitchen bins, you are in charge of emptying them into the courtyard bins.
